SHIPPING INFORMATION |
Scintex ships the majority of goods on the same day the order is placed (before 1pm). If there is a delay to your order you will be contacted.
Some items (eg Snorkels, Winches, Large pumps, Filter Housings) are too large or heavy to be sent with Australia Post. These will be shipped by courier. Items being shipped by courier cannot be sent to a PO Box and we will require a physical shipping address.
Generally items take between 2-5 days to arrive. However, if you live in remote areas shipping can take longer.
If you feel your item should have arrived by now please contact us for a tracking number. It is the buyer's responsiblity to
track items. All items are shipped with insurace and it is the buyer's responsiblity to lodge claims with the courier or Australia Post for lost or damaged goods.
Scintex has an account with Toll Priority which can be used for urgent or overnight delivery. If you would like to use this service please contact us for a quote on shipping.
IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION - Free freight excludes remote locations in WA, SA, NT & TAS. An additional shipping amount may apply. If you are unsure if this effects you don't hesitate to send us a message or give us a call on (07) 3137 0135 during normal business hours.
*When shipping snorkels to remote and rural areas in WA, NT, SA and TAS a $25 additional shipping charge may apply. |
WARRANTY POLICY |
Scintex provides a warranty on the majority of goods sold through eBay. For specific warranty lenghts please see the listing for that product.
The following apply to Warranty Claims:
- All items for which you want to claim on warranty have to be returned to Scintex at the buyers expense.
- The returned item must be accompanied by a Warranty & Returns claim form, which will be provided by Scintex.
- Where possible the item will be repaired or replaced and returned to the buyer.
- If the item is found not to be faulty the buyer will be required to pay the cost of shipping to return the item.
- Consumable goods cannot be returned for warranty claims.

- The Scintex Warranty covers faults caused by poor workmanship or faults caused through normal use of the product
- If the product is found to be misused or neglected the product warranty will not apply.
- Many Scintex products require assembly (sometimes by a licensed electrician) or fitting of the products to your vehicle or project. It is assumed on purchase that you have the necessary skills to perform such tasks.

RETURNS POLICY |
Scintex accepts the return of items purchased through eBay under the following conditions and in accordance with the Australian Trade Practices Act:
- The item must be returned within 14 days of purchase.
- The item must be unused and in it's original packaging.
- The item must be accompanied by the tax invoice issued with the order.
- The return cost is to be paid by the buyer.
- The actual cost of shipping the order to the buyer will not be refunded, this includes items listed as free shipping.
- Refunds will only be processed through the same facility used to make the purchase ie PayPal transactions will be reversed to the buyer.
